If the application cannot connect:
- Make sure you are well connected to the office's wifi.
- Check that the KitDSServer
software is on the far right of your Windows taskbar. If this is not the case, restart it using the icon on your Windows desktop.
Normally, you should find your profile again.
If the problem persists:
- Check the IP on KitDsServer which is located on the far right of your taskbar.
Right-click on it:
and select Show.
This dialog window will appear, and you will find the name, the IP of the computer as well as the communication port (8080 by default) in the title.
Here the PC is called MONPC, its IP is: 192.168.1.14; and its port is: 8080.
To change the search port in the application, press the gear located at the top right, while searching for profiles, you will then have access to this window:
You can change the port number in this window.
Once the profiles have been added, if you restart the application, just after identification, a synchronization will take place. The application will then ask you:
You will choose Upload the X profile(s) of my device into cloud, in order to save the profile(s) created on the app.
The choice Download X profile(s) from the cloud on my device is only used if you install the app on an additional smartphone, or if you have made changes to them by mistake.
