To import photos into Kitview we have different ways of doing it:
1) Drag & Drop (drag and drop) or Copy/Paste
a) First, you must select your patient in Kitview. Afterwards, you open the folder with the images, then you can drag them to your patient one by one or all at once.
For this example, we selected 3 photos, and dragged them onto the patient.
Kitview shows us the following window:
By default, Kitview will place the tag Time=1, and we can add other tags (keywords) manually. We validate the import by clicking on "Validate 3 objects" so that the 3 photos are imported directly.
The sequence tag in Kitview is the TIME tag.
The increment will be done if the interval of taking photos is greater than or equal to 15 days.
Example: my first import of photos has for each of them the label TIME = 1.
If I import photos within a period of less than 15 days, the photos will always have the label TIME valued at 1. On the other hand, if I import photos within a period of more than 15 days, the photos will have the label TIME valued at 2.
b) To use the copy/paste function, simply select the photos/documents on your computer, then go to your patient and right click and choose "Paste".
2) Print-Screen Kit
The Kit Print-Screen function allows you to make a precise capture of an area of our screen. You will have to make sure that the Kit Hot Keys software is started (see in the lower bar of Windows if the icon is running:
It will be necessary to check the keyboard key defined to use the Kit Print Screen (it can be F5, F6 or F7)
How does it work? . Imagine you are watching a panoramic radio and you want to capture just one area of it. Press F6 button of your keyboard (if it's the right key defined) and your screen will immediately blur. Using your mouse, define a capture rectangle and when you release the left mouse button, the capture will generate.
The selected area will become a new photo in the patient file. In this way, you can capture photos, text, an Excel table or what you see on your screen.
How do I know which keyboard key has been defined ?
Right-click on the KitHotKeys icon and select "Show". The settings appear.
3) Kitview Smartphone App
