The Kitview camera settings are accessible from the Shot or Scenarios modules by clicking on the icon symbolized by “a gear wheel” located at the top right of the screen.
Direct send: - If disabled, then the photo taken is validated by the user before sending to Kitview Web (possibility of cropping, rotating and/or changing the ratio of the photo), otherwise the photo is sent directly to Kitview Web.
Aiming lines: If activated, then guides are displayed to facilitate and standardize shots.
Flash: Allows you to choose whether the flash type: ON, OFF or AUTO.
Focus: configures the operation of your camera lens. You have three options:
Auto focus: for static subjects. Focus must be made with each photo.
Continuous AF: for moving subjects. Focusing is done continuously.
Locked: Focus is locked, no autofocus.
Touch to focus: Touch the screen to force focus.
Show trigger: allows you to show/hide the trigger. IF you have hidden your trigger, you will need to define a key, Volume Down/Up as a trigger.
Volume up (long click): Sets a function for this key. The options are: Do nothing - Take a picture - Confirm.
Volume Down (long click): Sets a function for this key. The options are: Do nothing - Take a picture - Confirm.
Resolution: chooses the resolution of the captured image. You have four levels: Native - High - Normal - Low. To get an idea of the resolutions, however, they differ between brands and models of smartphones:
Native = 3024 x 4032 pixels
High = 1080 x 1920 pixels
Normal = 360 x 480 pixels
Low = 144 x 192 pixels
Video quality: allows you to choose the video quality. You have three options: Low - Normal - High.
Self-timer: setting the self-timer between 0 and 5 seconds. The app takes the photo X seconds after pressing the trigger button.
Keep photos locally: keeps photos locally (on your smartphone's storage space) but also in your Kitview PC.
Send scale: this option allows you to send the scale defined on the smartphone. It will be necessary to define it: example, we can define that 100 mm = 378 pixels.
